On Saturday Lilli enjoyed a visit from both her grandparents. Sunday was Brent's mom's birthday so we celebrated with a cake while Lilli took her nap. Carolyn was SUPER excited about her 5-0 candle.

They left around 5, and it was so hot outside we decided to head to the pool. When we got to the East Y pool they told us it closed at 5, which is just beyond goofy. So we headed down to the Maryland Farms Y pool which doesn't close until 7:30. It has a MUCH better kiddie pool anyway! For some reason at first she was absolutely terrified of it! So strange since she loved swim lessons last year.
Within a few minutes though we eased her into it and she LOVED it! The Maryland Y has all kinds of fun fountains and sprinklers.
Both ends of the kiddie pool are zero entry access, so you can just walk right in like the beach. We had carried one of her new dinosaurs with us so she'd take it in and out, over and over.
She even got pretty "brave" and walked in fairly deep for her. She had so much fun just running in and out and all around the pool. This Y even has fun water slides and stuff like that for when she's older.
She got pretty mad when we left, but we went to one of her favorites for dinner - Taco Bell.
I think we're going to be spending a lot of time at the kiddie pool this summer!
