The next morning we walked over to the Port Discovery Children's Museum. Any museum where she can touch anything is a major Win.
First stop - ATM, of course! The museum is three stories and is packed with things kids love - grocery shopping, fake McDs, gas station, trains, just hands on everything. In the middle is a HUGE play area, that goes all the way up to the third story. It's pretty much impossible to capture.
Brent and Lilli did some of the smaller climbs/slides and she loved it.
The special three and under room had a really cool little butterfly exhibit. You punched a button and air blew "butterflies" up for you to catch with a net.
There were all types of exhibits - this one was a special Egyptian explorer area where you were looking for clues to solve mysteries.
In the Waterworks area, one of the things you could do was spray and squeege the windows like a window cleaner. This was a huge hit with the kids.
The museum was massive and we really didn't take a ton of pictures. She had a GREAT time exploring and playing and we spent the better part of the day there. Everything was so kid friendly, for all ages, that even though school was out (because of the Hurricane damage) it really wasn't overcrowded because it was so large. I actually think I like it better than the Chicago Children's Museum we took her to last year. Port Discovery is for sure a must-do if you're in Baltmore!
