Keeping Still (Not)

It's been a busy few days with my birthday on Thursday, and then Lilli's grandparents (my parents) came up Friday night to watch her so we could go out to a nice dinner and then helped us out today with some projects around the house. I haven't dumped any pics from my camera yet from any of the past few days adventures! And, we're getting ready to leave on our first family vacation later this week to Virginia and West Virginia, so I'm trying to get our route all sorted out and finalized. It will be Lilli's first "true" states, although she did travel with me last year to Wisconsin, Michigan, Iowa, Georgia and California, although I'm not sure if they count! And this will make states 42 and 43 for Brent and I on our journey to see all 50 together!

Here's some pics from last Sunday. I wanted some pictures of Lilli in her little DKNY dress to compare to the first time she wore it back in July. So, Sunday we set her in the glider and started snapping, but this time there was no way she going to sit still with so many things to explore!

Already starting out with a mischievous grin....
Cute shot! (She had a scratch on her nose last weekend though...this weekends pictures will include a scratch over one eye from following out of the ball pit at school yesterday and a new bump on her head from hitting something tonight)
Starting to get wound up.....
And now climbing on the chair, because everything should be stood on!
Smiling for the camera, this is so much fun!
Getting ready to **really** stand....
This week she has really worked a lot on standing unsupported. She'll go about 30 seconds or so now before she grabs onto something or falls down on her bottom. Often she starts "flapping her wings" and bouncing/dancing and that's when she loses her balance.
Oh Pippin, you are hil-ari-ous....
Snuggles with Pippin...
Have a great night!
